  Social Ministry

We are in the process of creating a Social Ministry Committee at Holy Love.  If you are interested in serving on the committee, I'd love to have you join us!  We will meet the second Tuesday of each month at  7:00 p.m. at the church.  Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m.  There is no requirement involved in coming to the meeting.  If you have some interest, just come and talk about what's happening and possibilities for the future.

During March we will have a Book Drive to support Lutheran Medical Center's Read-Aloud program.  We'll be collecting new and gently used children's books for
ages 0-19.  Look for the collection box in the Narthex throughout the month of March.  If you have any questions, you can talk to Lisa Cole about the book drive.
 
April is 9 Heath Fair time.  The 9 Health Fair will be held the morning of Friday, April 23.  Set-up will start at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 22. We need lots of volunteers for this event.  If you can volunteer for the event, please register at 9healthfair.org for site #305 on April 23.  If you can't volunteer for the event, maybe you can help with set-up or break-down.  You can contact Julie Hansen for more details.  We also need a lot of food for the 9 Health Fair, especially breakfast casseroles.  If you can help with
breakfast, lunch or snack foods, please contact Gayle Newell.
